A scammer has set up an Imposter Charity – pretending to be Russell Rescue TN.
If you have a suspicious charge on your credit card, call your bank or credit card company immediately and tell them it’s a fraudulent charge; report the card lost or stolen; and request a new card.
We do not collect or store any credit card information.
We are working with the authorities to investigate this, so if you have a screenshot to share, email to Tara@RussellRescueTN.com or text a photo to +1 (502) 805-7786. Please let us know if it was visa or master card, debit or credit.

ATTENTION EVERYONE!!!
Scammers are creating clone accounts on Facebook pretending to be Russell Rescue TN. If you see someone pretending to be us, please report them to Facebook immediately.
What are they doing? The fakes reply to comments and/or send chat messages and offer to hold a dog or sell a different dog in exchange for money.
Sometimes, an unknown individual will do the same thing.
They will create a sense of urgency to play on your emotions and attempt to make some quick money.
It’s important to know that Russell Rescue TN does not take money to hold dogs. Adoption fees are paid at the time of adoption.
Pet scams are unfortunately prevalent, so please be diligent in flagging fake accounts, spammers, etc.
If you can spot a scam, you can stop a scam.
How can you tell if the account is fake? Click on the individual or the page and look at their profile. Is the account new? Do they have authentic photos? Friends? It should be easy to tell if the account is suspicious.
